You’ve just written a masterpiece that is going to change the world, but it needs a little polish. Thankfully, you don’t have to go at it alone.

I’m here to help get your message across clearly and concisely.

Editing service fees are as follows:

Book, Magazine, Article, Web Copy Editing: Varies

Unlike writing and design, the fee for every editing job varies. Why? Because every author is different and every web page, article, and book needs something different.

That’s why I work the way I do.

Before I give an editing quote, I ask for a sample of the writing to be edited. I then edit a short part of it for the writer to review. If the writer likes what I’ve done, I give a quote—not an estimate—for the job. Only when the price is agreed upon do we move forward.

The benefits are mutual. If you come to me with a project that just needs a final read, your price will be much lower than if your book has grammar, spelling, and usage mistakes throughout and needs some developmental help. Also, reviewing a sample gives me a chance to determine if I will enjoy working on the book. If I don’t feel I’m a good fit for your project, I tell you this before any money is exchanged, wish you the best, and even do a little digging around to see if I can help find someone who would better suit you.
